Bella brings a unique and relatable perspective to the Mindfulness for Teens program. Recently qualified in mindfulness teaching, Bella is passionate about empowering her peers through mindfulness techniques. Her close age to the participants allows her to connect deeply, making her an inspiring and empathetic co-facilitator alongside Katie.

Katie brings 18 years of experience in private practice, specialising in anxiety, emotional regulation, and stress management. Her extensive background equips her with the insights and tools needed to help teens navigate their challenges effectively. As a co-facilitator of the Mindful Teens program, Katie's expertise provides a solid foundation for transformative learning.

First off, Katie is an awesome and sweet person who makes everything so much fun and comforting. Before starting this course with Katie, I did some digging to see what was out there and what kind of course or therapist would fit my needs. I found a few options and narrowed it down to three before deciding to go with Katie's. I've had a tough time with addictions my whole life and wanted to make sure I was getting the most out of any therapy I chose. Katie first offered a 30-minute chat to talk about what I was dealing with and to get a quick introduction to her and how she works. This chat made me feel like this was exactly what I was looking for and what I needed. And it was a great choice. With just one session left, I can honestly say this course has exceeded all my expectations. There are so many cool techniques Katie teaches from start to finish that have really helped me through this journey. You're never really sure if this kind of thing will work, and I've always been a bit sceptical about whether it actually does, but I can say, I feel a lot better about myself, and I think many others will have similar experiences, sharing their own success stories as I write this review right now. As you move through the course, you'll feel a real connection with Katie who makes you feel totally at ease, and she really makes you feel comfortable at every step. The course itself is perfect, starting with an amazing book Katie guides you through once a week. This book and the techniques it teaches have been a game changer for me, leading right into the next part, which is helping me deal with my addictions and use what I've learned to overcome them. Of course, everyone's different, and what works for one person might not work for another, but I can honestly say this course was one of the best decisions I've ever made, and I wish I had found it sooner. I recently completed Katie Brazier's 8-week mindfulness course, and it has been a transformative experience. My journey began due to my 16-year-old son, who repeatedly told me, "You need to learn how to talk to people. You have too much life trauma. Stop complaining and see someone." One evening, while sitting on his bed next to him as he was on his phone, he asked for my date of birth and maiden name. When I inquired why, he revealed he was booking me a free therapy session. At that moment, I thought, "What have I created?" Out of love and respect for my son, I attended the appointment, which turned out to be an 8-week mindfulness course. Despite being aware of my lifelong trauma—from childhood struggles with education, being constantly compared to my siblings and labelled "thick" by my parents, to enduring control and bullying from my mother-in-law during my marriage and facing demanding and stressful work—I had no support throughout my life, even up to my current age of 51. The severe mental illness of my eldest son during COVID and his suicide attempts added to my overwhelming fear and anxiety. When I first met Katie, I had a specific goal in mind and was sceptical that an 8-week course could make a difference. However, as the weeks passed, I noticed significant changes within myself. I became more grateful, started wishing toxic people well, prioritised my own needs, and began healing through love. The transformation was incredible. Katie asked me what my targets were: 1. To be a loving being 2. To stop criticising people and be more non-judgemental/empathetic 3. To be in the moment 4. To process difficult emotions better (my son's request and I agree) Katie's warm and empathetic approach from the very first session made me feel comfortable and understood.
